| 2007-08 (Freshman): Played in 28 games with 22 starts while averaging 9.7 points and a team-best 6.5 rebounds...shot 43.2 percent from the field and 60.4 percent (67-111) at the FT line...had three double-doubles...scored 10-plus 13 times and grabbed 8-plus rebounds on 10 occasions...led team in rebounding 17 times...averaged just over two offensive rebounds per game (57 in 28 gms)...had 5 multi-block games...Honors: Named to Conference USA All-Freshman Team after averaging 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds in league play, that ranked him first in rebounding and third in scoring among freshmen ...Team Rankings: 1st in rebounds (183, 6.5), 2nd in blocks (19, 0.7), 2nd in FTM and FTA (67-111), tied for 2nd in FG pct. Austin 12/30...Had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks against Houston Baptist 12/9...Added 12 points and 8 rebounds in win over TCU 12/5...Had his second double-double with a team-high 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 FT) as well as 10 boards against Paul Quinn 11/27...Went for 9 points and 7 rebounds at Dayton 11/24...Had 8 points, 4 steals, and 3 blocks in his second game 11/11 agains Alabama St...Started and recorded a double-double in his debut (11 pts, 13 rebs) against Southern 11/10.
Prep: Played alongside current teammate Mike Walker at South Kent School...is a native of St. Louis, Senegal, the same hometown as current Mustang center Bamba Fall...was ranked 56th nationally by Hoop Scoop...As a junior at South Kent, he averaged 7.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.6 blocks per game for coach Raphael Chillious on a team that had eight Division I signees...Attended and played basketball for SEEDS Academy in Dakar, Senegal, before going to South Kent.
Club:Played AAU basketball for coach Rob Brown and Team Final.
International: Played for team Africa in the 2006 Global Games held at Moody Coliseum.
