Ammons will be relied on to add depth and lessen the blow of losing the team’s entire starting secondary. At 6’0”, 181 lbs, Ammons offers good size for a cornerback and also has solid speed. He is currently ranked two stars and is the 151st corner in the nation according to Scout.com. Ammons is a playmaker and isn’t afraid to mix it up and attack runners coming out of the backfield, which is rare for a lot of corners. Ammons will need to refine his tackling technique some before heading to UCF, but his willingness to be aggressive is something that coaches covet and cannot teach.
