Bortles a Knight
Blake Bortles

UCF had been chasing after Blake Bortles for a while and this weekend he decided to stay home. The Oviedo prospect will make the move five minutes away from home to be a Knight.

When talked to Blake Bortles back in the spring, he said he’d like to head out of the area to play college ball, but when we talked to him during the summer, he said that location no matter made a difference.

Apparently, he has stood by those comments, as the Oviedo H.S. product will be staying as close to home as possible.

The strong-armed quarterback committed to UCF on Saturday afternoon and chose the Knights over schools such as Purdue and Tulane. This is now UCF’s 12th commitment of the 2010 class. We will be in contact with Bortles and will be proud to offer you his post-commit interview.
