Offers are Coming for Fordham

UCF is the only school thus far to have offered Cameron Fordham, but the productive tight end/ defensive end from Northview H.S. (GA) may not be a well-kept secret for much longer, as he is expecting some serious offers this week.

The Knights were the first school to offer the 6'4", 235 lb. athlete and have made a strong impression on Fordham every time he's visited UCF. The Knights still likely have the inside track to this Georgia star, who plans on making his decision before his season begins, but there may be some steep competition coming UCF's way.

"There are several schools that might offer me this week," Fordham told InsideKnights.com. "Missouri, Clemson, and LSU have been in contact with me."

Fordham also took a trip to Auburn two weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed himself.

"It went real well, I got to meet Coach Chizik, I loved it there but I forgot to bring my film. I sent it to them though, so I might be hearing from them soon."

Florida St. has also began to show interest in Fordham, as FSU's Coach Haggins has been in contact with him.

"Everything is starting to fall into place."

Fordham was told by UCF coaches that the offers would start rolling in once his film started floating around and it appears that some big time programs are begin take a liking to the talented end. Only time will tell, but it's looking like UCF will not be the only horse in the race for Fordham.
