UCF Game Balls vs UTEP

Kamar Aiken (UCF Athletics)

Seemingly every bounce went against UCF, as the Knights got off to a rough start in their attempt to defend the C-USA title. The season is far from over, but the team will have to search hard to find many positives from this lopsided loss. Still, InsideKnights.com found some silver lining in UCF's clouded loss and here were our game balls.

Joe Burnett - UTEP picked apart UCF's secondary, but rarely did they aim in Burnett's direction. When the Miners did try to pick on Burnett, it didn't end well for them, as he had the Knights' lone interception. Burnett has proven to be the most consistent player for the Knights so far this season.

Kamar Aiken - The sophomore receiver didn't have a monstrous game, but he showed why he was missed. In his first game back from a fractured foot, Aiken had 58 yards on five receptions and was a very good target for his quarterbacks.

Torrell Troup - The massive defensive tackle did a solid job getting penetration and disrupting the Miners, although he didn't have much help behind him. He finished with seven tackles on the evening.
