Video Profile: UCF Commit TE Jim Teknipp

UCF’s fourth recruit to commit this summer was Jim Teknipp, the talented tight end who spent his junior year at Henry County H.S, Georgia. Teknipp was the first of three recruits thus far to commit to UCF and the Knights are excited to have the versatile tight end on board.

Teknipp stands at an impressive 6’6”, 225 lbs. and he uses that size to his advantage, offering a tremendous target to his quarterback. He has terrific hands, a good burst and great concentration in traffic. He ahs experience in a pass oriented offense, so run-blocking could be a concern, but Teknipp has the frame and aptitude to become a devastating run-blocker as well.
