Kyle Israel committed to UCF this afternoon. While on his way back from his official
visit at FSU, Israel called George O'Leary to inform him that he's a Knight.
KnightsNews.com talked to Kyle Israel this evening and the entire interview will
be on the site soon.
Here is what
Larry Blustein of Florida Kids.us has to say about Kyle
Israel:
THE SCOOP ON THIS FLORIDA KID: Had the opportunity to see this big,
strong football talent three times in two years and have been very impressed.
EVALUATION: When you have a quarterback with the size and strength like
Kyle, you have an empty canvas to create so many things on your offense.
Throws the short ball very well. Also has a very good touch on the intermediate
patterns. Had a number of balls dropped during his junior year, so he became a
bit gun shy. During the spring, he found ways to move the offense by running and
passing.
THE INSIDE STORY: Could become a real find if he has a breakout season in
2003. Has plenty of promise and is very physical.
UCF also pickup an commitment from OL L.J. Anderson of SC.
Anderson picked UCF over South Carolina St.
Nonetheless, UCF rumored to have five more commitments guys over
the weekend. The five commitments are mostly OL/DL.
